Day one

Along Route 62 to Oudtshoorn, with lunch at Calitzdorp, wine tasting at a local estate and a visit to an Ostrich Show Farm along the way.

Day two

Explore the Cango Caves and the Cango Wildlife Ranch before driving through the scenic Robinson Pass to Mossel Bay. In the afternoon, enjoy a Meet The People Tour and then an overnight stay at a guest house within walking distance of the beach.

Day three

An early start for a game-watching safari and lunch, then drive the coastal route to the holiday town of Knysna, sleepy on the shores of its placid Lagoon. Then, Carry on to the Tsitsikamma and its Coastal National Park.

Day four

Drive through the Park, take a short hike in its indigenous forests and linger over lunch at a beachfront restaurant before rejoining the coastal route to Boggoms Bay, near Mossel Bay.

Day five

Return to Cape Town via Albertinia (with a stop at its unique Aloe products factory), Riversdale (to see the Sleeping Beauty) Heidelberg and Swellendam, and take lunch en route wherever you prefer.
